Did You Walk Today? - with David Paul

Published on: 2nd April, 2023

David Paul is a 52-year-old fitness enthusiast who is passionate about health and wellness. After experiencing some weight gain in 2008, he started running and eventually ran a variety of half and full marathons. In 2013, he got a Fitbit and realized he was not reaching his step goal. This inspired him to start walking and he hasn't looked back since. He now averages around 20,000 steps per day, and walking has become his primary fitness activity. David loves the physical and mental benefits of walking and has become a passionate advocate for the power of movement.

Many of us are looking to be more active and more "fit", but we struggle with the idea of exercising regularly. David has been walking for fitness since donning his first Fitbit 2013 and he is a firm believer in the overall health value of walking.

His website, Walking is Fitness, and his podcast of the same name, are his testaments to how walking can impact your life in a positive way. Through his podcast, Dave encourages listeners to start off with just 10 minutes of walking each day - and he does it right there with you!

Today, Dave shares his approach and his recommendations for getting started on what could very well become your new favourite activity!
