Are You Where You Should Be? - with Ryan Frederick

Published on: 16th April, 2023

Ryan Frederick has a passion for helping people think about the impact of place on their day-to-day lives. After training as an electrical engineer and working in Silicon Valley, Ryan went back to business school to explore the megatrend of people living longer. He gained experience in the senior housing industry, living in a senior-living community for part of a summer. In his current role, Ryan leverages his engineering background and business acumen to help people make informed decisions about the places they live and work.

When people start to think about retirement, one of the things that comes to mind is where they're going to live. Many people think they'll stay where they are, while others have a variety of criteria that they rely on to help them choose the "best" place.

Ryan says that the right place depends on many factors, and the "right place" right now might not be the "right place" in the future.

Ryan's book, Right Place, Right Time, explores the significant role that place plays in our overall health and happiness, and in this interview, Ryan explains what we need to think about when we're deciding where to spend our retirement.

Please visite his website https://here.life where you will find a quick assessment of your current "home" and whether you should perhaps consider some changes.
