Don't Live in Quiet Desperation - with Michal Stawicki

Published on: 20th November, 2022

Many people talk about the simple, small habits that we need to create to improve our lives, but few people have taken these habits to heart the way Michal Stawicki has. Called "Mr. Consistency", Michal practices what he preaches.

Michal is the author of many best-selling books and he is a firm believer that the world can be changed for the better through consistent daily habits that bring us all closer to success in life.

Discipline requires focus to continue; keeping a vision board, meditating, reading inspirational quotes... these will all help improve your focus. And by making small and simple daily changes, we get the feeling of success and accomplishment every day. Keeping our mind focused on the small things helps us continue them.

Michal points out that at the end of life, most people regret what they HAVEN'T done, not what they HAVE done. The gem in this observation is that we don't have to accept the status quo - we can try to do a bit more each day to ensure that we don't have so many regrets.

He suggests that we write our eulogy to help us figure out what we want in life. By writing down what we hope people will say about us when we're gone, we gain valuable insight into what our deep purpose is.

Michal's website, https://expandbeyondyourself.com, contains his blog and his books, all housed under the theme "Change Yourself, Change Your Life, Change the World."
